Short but sweet.

They say that people with Autism need consistency in their lives, and when there are changes to be supportive. In real terms, you need to do the same thing everyday and if something is going to change you must prepare for all hell to break loose. I am making this a short and sweet post, because the grandparents are coming into town, and I have to make a Thanksgiving dinner(oh that's not a complaint, I love to cook, it is hard to do with two little kiddos running around) but this week I will have three people to help me wrangle the little cute monsters, its not enough but the national guard was busy this weekend. I am so tired, I have done more loads of laundry then I care to count, every room has been clean and re clean, and things that were clean are now dirty again, but I am making progress, the last room is the living room, or as I call it the PLAYROOM (cue ominous music) Yes, the playroom, where toys are not taken out of their boxes, NO they're dumped out and throw about and taken to different room, and then just left there, I try to keep it from getting too bad but I swear Inky and Binky just look at me with a yeah right lady I don't know what you have been smoking but I am going to go over here now. Binky is not really the problem, he puts his stuff back and helps in ways that work for him, Inky is the trouble, I never got to experience this before with Binky so this is what 3 almost 4 is like, he reminds of the Caterpillar room in Toy Story 3, Inky plays with his toys long and hard. I am sure at the end of the night as I am laying in my bed too tired to even move, the toys are down stairs checking to make sure everyone has survived the day.
This is going to be a good week, every week I hear NO new school, no new school, and this week no school, he is going to get some much needed rest, I think he is starting to get burned out, he has been showing all the signs but our hours for Speech and OT are almost out and we are going to do an increase in hours after the new year for ABA, so this will be a nice few months for Binky to relax and watch his Ipod and make some fun crafts. The meds are working again with a little bit of tweaking and it seems to be going good. Inky's meds are working too, he even likes to take them so its nice.
Well this is longer than I expected but if you ever meet me, I love to talk, that's because I hang around little kids all day and I would like to talk about something else, than Play doh, ipod, pink panther, and Disney Channel.

I wish you all out there A Happy Thanksgiving. or as Binky would say Happy Turkey Day.
