Dr. Good Update.

Well, it was time for Binky's checkup with Dr. Good. We are on Triliptal, and trazadone, and another which I can't spell right now.  For the last two months it has been working really great, but the last week, Binky has started to wake up early and he has been taking longer to go to sleep. What Dr good calls sleep latency. We were having some issues, with tantrums, the nice thing about having regular ABA sessions is you can tell the difference between behavior or if it is something else that needs meds for.  We give Binky the Triliptal in the morning and at bedtime, but at 3pm after school he started having mega tantrums, I was doing everything I was supposed to with the ABA side but I was having major trouble. Nothing was making Binky happy and then he would be OK in a few hours but from 3-5pm nightmare. Then we would give him his evening meds and he would go off to sleep. I love Dr. Good, he listen to all the problems we are having and he doesn't blame me, he believes me. He is going to do a small increase in Binky's Triliptal but he is going to give Binky some at 3pm and it has been great, I gave Binky a dose when he was grumpy at 4pm after the Dr. Good appointment. Binky wanted a hamburger and dinner wasn't until an hour later, Hubby and I had a date night that same night, one shot, of Binky's triliptal and Binky was nice again. We left him at our monthly babysitter service and Binky was great, he told us good bye and to have fun.

Hubby and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary. We have been together for 11 years, and this man drives me crazy but I just love him, I mean true love, the kind that you just can't live without. I know we are meant to be together forever.  We were supposed to have a nice planned out date. HAHAHAHA YEAH RIGHT! what dope are you smoking. Plans are for people who don't have kids or autism in their life.  We just went to Saltgrass steakhouse, and I got to eat a very large steak which is my favorite we also ordered a cake that we are still working on, it is  the size of a small tugboat.

and Finally, I would like to introduce you all to Dr. Good's newest patient: INKY! Yes, Inky is about to turn 4 and he still stays up all night, it doesn't matter what time he goes to bed, or gets up he still stays up until 1am, in the process he destroys his room. so after our appointment with Dr Good, I asked what age do I need to worry about Inky. Dr Good, asked all the questions, about how Inky sleeps, and what we have done to try to get inky to sleep. but alas nothing as worked. So then he said Yes, I need to start seeing Inky and gave us Clondine, which was the first drug we started on with Binky, but with Inky he just goes to sleep. and he wakes up happy in the morning and it is a great. The last two night Inky has been asleep by 9:30pm.
