Sea World

 

Today was a overall great day, we went to Sea World. It was a lot of fun but a lot of work. There were new sensory issues to deal with in the life of Binky. there was the silly show of Seamore and Clyde and Binky would have no part of it, it was loud and its funny how now, I hear how loud it is. I love loud music and loud things don't bother me. When Binky is around I can hear it and know that this place isn't going to work. so we left. There was a sesame street play area and while Binky never like Sesame Street he loved the play area and wanted me to come along all sorts of different things, I am not in good enough shape for that but what the heck I tried my best. then Binky wanted French fries and chicken nuggets so we stood in line which normally is fine, there were only a few people ahead of  us, but Binky would not sit still. and tried to jump ahead of the line to grab the food. Oh and where is Inky? When I told hubby which I think I will now call Rabbit, because that is his name. I told Rabbit that Binky couldn't handle the show, and that we were leaving he thought just Binky and I were leaving, he staying with Inky and they got to see SeaMore and Clyde, I admit I am jealous, but Inky only half watched it. Well I was very proud of myself, I got our food before the huge line and my friend met us and while we had waited in line Binky started eating food right off the line, so I had to buy an extra kid meal because Binky was  taking bites of food. Which was fine later because I was able to have food for one of Binky's friends who join us for lunch. His mom loved that she didn't have to wait it line. I had all the food all ready after the show and we had a very nice lunch and Binky was happy because he got some chocolate cake. I tried to go to other show but Binky would have none of it. so we just walked around and went to see the different animals, he loved feed the dolphins or I should say he loved it when I fed the dolphins. He loved how they jumped and would come right up to us for a fish, he was took scared to touch but he was happy to be there. the penguins were our next favorite, he loved how they were flying in the water and when meal time happened the penguins all jumped out of the water and Binky was like "There all wet" I told him they would shake off the water which they did and Binky thought that was great and that the family needed to shake like penguins, so yes there was a family of four shaking like penguins.  He was good at gift shops and leaving different areas, When it time to go home, it was Binky who told us. Mama let's go home. so we did and they had a great time.

Back after Illness in the house.

October 6, I got a cold, but being a very active mommy with active kiddos, I couldn't stop until my body made me stop. Yesterday was the first day back after being sick for so long. Now, it is time for the clean up. Hurricane Cold has run through the local residence. Toys everywhere, Dishes everywhere, Laundry everywhere. It amazes me how bad one place can get. Inky and Binky are doing great, they got the cold but they also got their daddy immune system so they were good after about a week. We had a birthday! Binky is now 7yr old. We had a small home party because he was sick. His Grandmas (my mom and my hubby mom) gave Binky some birthday cash. So we went to the local grocery store and Binky picked out a toy, (a large helicopter) he was very excited that he could pick out anything he wanted. Then the sweetest thing, he told me, that Inky needed toys too. so he pick up a five pack of cars. We then went to the bakery and picked out some birthday cupcake and some candles. We then went to Whataburger and got Binky his favorite meal. He loved his new helicopter but I knew he was sick because my very hyper kiddos were laying on the ground playing with the toys and Binky just wanted to lay in bed or on the couch with me. Inky and I love hot tea and we would sit on the couch and drink tea and eat soup. I admit it sucks being sick but when the kiddos are sick they are sooo good. I knew when the illness was over, after a week I was laying in bed and watching television and the kiddos are running around the  house playing tag and laughing.  Now it is time, to clean up. I promise more to blog about later when I get back to the living.
